Fuel Up Energy Cafe ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at fuelup.cafe (this "Site"). This page explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only — not to our physical cafe transactions, which are handled separately (see "Payments in our cafe" below).

What this Site does not do

To be upfront: this Site does not require you to create an account, does not have a contact or signup form, and does not process any purchases or payments directly. Browsing the Site does not require you to give us any personal information at all.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, our Site automatically receives some technical information whenever you visit — this comes from how web browsers and servers communicate, not from anything you type in. This can include your general device type, browser type, the pages you viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. We also use Google Analytics, described below, which collects some of this information on our behalf.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site — for example, which pages are most viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city/region level, not a precise address), and what kind of device they're using. This helps us keep the Site useful and know what to improve.

Google Analytics works by placing a small file (a "cookie") in your browser and sending usage data to Google, which processes it under Google's own privacy policy. On our end:

• We have IP address anonymization turned on.
• We have ad personalization features turned off — we do not use Google Analytics data to build advertising profiles, run ad campaigns, or sell it to anyone.
• We use this information only to understand and improve the Site and our menu presentation.

Cookies, generally

Aside from the cookie Google Analytics sets (described above), this Site does not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not use cookies for advertising purposes. Most browsers let you see, manage, and delete cookies through their settings — check your browser's help documentation for the exact steps.

Embedded content and links to other sites

Some pages on our Site embed or link to services we don't control, each of which has its own privacy practices:

• Google Maps. Our Visit Us and home pages embed a Google Map so you can get directions. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy.
• Social media links. Links to our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages take you to those platforms, which operate under their own separate privacy policies. We don't control what those platforms collect once you're there.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site before sharing information with it.

Payments in our cafe

If you visit us in person, in-cafe payments are processed through Square, under Square's own privacy policy. We do not store your payment card information ourselves.

Children's privacy

Our Site is a general-audience informational site about our cafe and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and since the Site has no account system or contact forms, it is not designed to collect information from anyone, child or adult.

How we protect information

Because this Site doesn't collect personal information from visitors directly (no accounts, no forms), there isn't a customer database tied to Site use for us to secure. The limited technical data described above is handled through Google's infrastructure, under Google's own security practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature to the Site or our practices otherwise change. We'll update the effective date above when we do. We encourage you to check back periodically.
